Mira Upper Rock

I moved here about 2 weeks ago, I was not happy with the way my previous landlord was treating the residents and their lack of response concerning the safety and security of the residents while on the property. Of course since I’ve only been here for 2 weeks, I will update my reviews periodically. For now I can talk about many differences between the two properties: My one bedroom apartment is a lot bigger than the one I had before, there are convenient walkways surrounded by greenery and plants and in some areas there are water fountains, great place to take your dogs for an enjoyable walk. Last weekend I had a minor maintenance problem, I told them I could wait till Monday but the technician on call came and fixed it less than an hour after I submitted my request!! At my previous apartment I had an emergency but the guy on call for emergencies simply ignored my calls. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The management is professional. The first time I stopped by to look at the property, I had the pleasure of meeting the property’s assistant manager, Chris, such a wonderful person, he answered all my questions before, during and after I moved in. A couple of days ago I had to take my dog out after midnight and I saw a suspicious man in the lobby, the next day I mentioned it to Chris, he immediately gave me a card with the contact info of our security guard (yes we have a security guard) and he added the non emergency number of the police but what surprised me the most was the fact that he also gave me his cell phone number!! I guess with this property I have to get used to communicating with dedicated and responsible grownups. Believe me, I am working on it.

My husband and I have lived at Mira since December 2022. To sum it up, we absolutely love it here! The apartments and amenities are stunning and beautiful. We are a lovely 15 minute walk from restaurants and a grocery store and a 5 minute drive from a beautiful park with pickle ball courts. It’s quiet and clean. The events are thoughtful and fun. The residents that live here are polite, friendly and considerate. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Every staff member we’ve met are super friendly and considerate and we enjoy talking with them. We’ve had a few maintenance requests and the maintenance team has been incredible to work with. They’ve come out almost immediately and made sure that we were comfortable in the meantime. I can’t express how valuable it is to have staff that are communicative and thoughtful! Thank you all so much for all you do! Take a tour, you wont regret it!
